ABOUT CONOR
At just 23, Conor Rice is a rising progressive voice in South Texas — bringing energy, urgency, and fresh ideas to the fight for change in Corpus Christi. A proud Gen Z advocate and lifelong Nueces County local, he’s already served as an advisor to a City Councilmember, shaping bold, community-first policies on public safety, infrastructure, and government accountability.

Conor also serves on the Crime Control and Prevention District Board and works full-time at NGPVAN, the leading digital platform for Democratic campaigns. He’s a former Texas Legislative Director for Voters of Tomorrow, where he helped young Texans push back against attacks on education, voting rights, and reproductive freedom.

His advocacy is grounded in action — from testifying at the Capitol to filing records requests and organizing with students, parents, and working families. He also leads with his faith, chairing the Missions Team at First United Methodist Church.

Now, Conor is running to lead the Nueces County Democratic Party with a new generation of leadership that unites, inspires, and wins. Backed by leaders like former County Judge Barbara Canales and Councilmembers Sylvia Campos and Eric Cantu, he’s building a grassroots movement powered by hope — not hierarchy.

Leadership isn’t about waiting your turn. It’s about showing up — and Conor Rice always shows up.

CONOR'S PRIORITIES
Rebuild and Unite the Local Party
It’s time to bring everyone to the table new voices, longtime Democrats, young activists, and seasoned organizers. We must heal divisions, rebuild trust, and create a stronger, more inclusive party where every Democrat feels seen, heard, and empowered. That starts with modernizing our infrastructure, strengthening precinct operations, and supporting candidates and volunteers with the tools they need to win together not just in November, but year-round.
Lead with Values, Never Compromise
The Democratic Party must be more than a label—it must be a home for people who believe in justice, equality, and progress. That means standing firm in our values, even when it’s inconvenient or politically risky. Too often, we’ve seen Democrats endorse Republicans or stay silent in the face of extremism with no accountability. Under my leadership, that ends. We will foster a culture of unity and discipline where standing with our values, our candidates, and our communities is the expectation, not the exception. If we’re going to win, we have to believe in what we’re fighting for and hold the line.
Bolster Fundraising to Build Power
A stronger party needs stronger resources. We must grow our fundraising efforts—locally and online—so we can support candidates, fund voter outreach, and operate a year-round presence in every corner of the county. That means tapping into small-dollar donors, building sustainable finance systems, and showing supporters exactly how their contributions fuel real change on the ground.
